Boomanulla Oval – now closed - has been a cultural and sporting hub for the Indigenous community in Canberra for over 30 years - home to sporting events, celebrations, NAIDOC events, mentoring, weddings and regular gatherings of the Aboriginal community.
To return Boomanulla to the Aboriginal community Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health and Community Services is putting together a tender application to the ACT Government. The Boomanulla Steering Committee has sought the feedback from the local community on the VISION for the oval, the TYPES OF FUTURE USES, and how you’d like to be kept informed. Your input will help us to develop a Strategic Plan and economic feasibility for the oval, informing the tender and future master planning.
If you would like to be kept informed about the progress of the Strategic Plan for Boomanulla or the tender process please feel free to send us an email at: email@example.com.
